When should I take STARBODIES® Fiber… before meals, during meals, or after meals?
You can take STARBODIES® Fiber anytime throughout the day, with or without meals. But we suggest for best results that you take it right BEFORE or during a meal to help support healthy blood sugar levels, and to help slow the absorption rate of sugar and carbs. Plus, if taken BEFORE a meal, it will help you feel fuller, longer, so to eat less.* And if taken before a meal it will help support lower cholesterol levels. If you forget to take it before or during a meal, you can still take it after your meal. And always take STARBODIES® Fiber with at least 8 ounces of water or liquid per serving. It has to be taken with water or liquid. Do not take it in dry form. And do not take it at the same time as vitamins or medicines, as it can affect the absorption rate. Take STARBODIES® Fiber at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after vitamins and medicines.

For Digestive Health: STARBODIES® Fiber can be used to promote regularity, and feel lighter, and occasional constipation. If your constipation persists beyond 7 days, consult your doctor because it may be a sign of a more serious condition.
How does psyllium fiber help maintain healthy blood sugar levels as part of a person’s or patient’s diet?*
Psyllium husk is a soluble viscous fiber that forms a viscous gel. This gel TRAPS SUGARS as the gel moves through the intestines. This gel (with the trapped sugars) slows the absorption of the sugar into the body, helping maintain healthy blood sugar levels.*

How many capsules per meal should I take?
3-7 Capsules Per Meal depending on the benefits you want to get from using STARBODIES® Fiber Capsules. The more capsules you take, the better benefits you receive. 7 capsules = 4 grams of Fiber. The Recommended Daily Allowance for fiber is 25-38 grams per day. Most people don’t get that in their daily diet with food alone. And to help slow the absorption rate of carbs, promote healthy blood sugar levels, lower cholesterol and maintain regularity you will need more grams and more capsules of STARBODIES® Fiber per serving to achieve your goals.

Any time of day is appropriate to take Metamucil as long as an adequate intake of fluids (at least 8 ounces of water or liquid per serving) is consumed. We recommend taking Metamucil between one and three times per day at mealtimes as a convenient way to get the benefits of Metamucil. However, if you're taking Metamucil to help you feel less hungry between meals*, you should take it before eating. Bulk-forming fibers like psyllium husk, may affect how well medicines work. Take this product at least 2 hours before or after medicines. Our powdered product must be mixed with liquids, not taken in its dry form. Capsules should be taken one at a time; we do not recommend dissolving them in water. For Metamucil Fiber Capsules and Capsules Plus Calcium, we recommend taking them four times per day with at least 8 ounces of liquid, as indicated.
